Hey whats up? A few of my friends and I are moving to Maryland and I was wondering if anyone there has any Knowledge of the current laws and how the 5-0 Reacts to marijuana. I read in an article that all you need is a Doctors approval and that's it. There's no set way other than having a slip of paper saying that you can smoke or possess with a doctors signature on it. How do the police up there deal with that? Can anyone help me out here???

I can still be arrested and tried though im likely to be let off w/ a $100 fine. Theres no clinics for medicinal marijuana here so I have to buy it on the street or grow it... both of wich are still illegal under Marylands law.

Oh and once you get popped once, expect years of random vehical searches and harassment. I know of a 74 year old cancer patient who was held in a holding sell for 2 days for transporting 1/2 oz back to her home... She was not under the influence @ the time and had nothing else on her.... the cops told her to save her doctors note for court...
