YES!! Most definetely YES!! Hundreds (almost thousands) are spend on weed here monthly (and im talkin one person alone, nevermind all the smokers in ireland!) it would be the best thing ever 2!

Ireland attracts a lot of tourists all ready, but if weed was legalised, there would be a boom in tourism the likes of which this country hasnt seen before. load of new jobs, loada tax, loada happy potheads

but the thing is, alcohol would lose out BIG TIME. and a LOT of taxes are comin from drink in this country, which is probably half the reason MJ is still ilegal. the other half of the reason is the ignorance of most of the people that reside here. theyre more stubborn than the republicans from texas.

And what about all the work that would be lost from people lacking motivation as a result of smoking weed ?

It has pros and cons. Cant see it being done though till America do it first

dewd, the people that have motivation will always have it. the people that dont never will. it has NOTHING to do with weed. Ive been smoking weed for 4 years. Im in college, and just aced my exams. Im an entrepreneur (legaly, not with weed) - have yet to see if my business will be successfull. I train a kids' sports team. youre gona tell me i lack motivation?

Hey man i think your wrong about losing taxes on drink i love to drink just as much as i love smoking and most people i kno do to most irish were raised on a culture of drinking so really only the tourist wouldnt be drinking!

Lose of motivation me arse when i was younger i soccer every week trainned twice a week and played three matches a week some times! All this while smoking soapbar everyday of the week and that hash would make a cracked head unmotivated when i smoke weed it makes me wana do things not just sit around!
