Default It's Time Arizona!!
It's time Arizona. The MMP project is coming to town to help raise the required signatures for the ballot initiative May 18. This time around when we pass it like we have in the past the legislator can not turn around and shoot it down. The laws have changed here in AZ barring the legislator from changing or denying voter pass initiative. We need a 150,300 signatures and according to MMP that will not be a problem. They are even paying you to go get the signatures. We will truly win this time with you support. This group is no joke and is backed by Billionaire Peter Lewis(Chairman of Progressive Insurance) Event Info is below... We're pleased to announce that the Arizona Medical marijuana Policy Project is about to launch its long-awaited campaign to pass an effective medical marijuana initiative in Arizona in November 2010! With your help, AMMPP plans to ensure that Arizona patients battling cancer, AIDS, and other life-threatening diseases no longer face the threat of arrest and jail for simply trying to alleviate their pain and suffering, under the advice of their doctors. But AMMPP needs your help. Its first training session for signature gatherers will be Monday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Coffee Plantation, on the corner of Sixth Street and Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona. To sign up, you must bring a government-issued ID, as well as a utility bill or vehicle registration showing your Arizona address. You must be an Arizona resident and be able to pass a criminal background check to circulate petitions. Arizona law requires that AMMPP collect 153,365 valid signatures before July 2010. AMMPP is paying $1 for every valid signature turned in. As an added bonus for dedicated signature gatherers who have a high percentage of valid signatures (65% or higher), AMMPP will pay $1 for every signature turned in. Don't miss this opportunity to set your own hours and get paid $9 to $15 an hour by working as an independent contractor, all while helping to protect the sick and dying! Of course, collecting this many signatures is not going to be cheap. Would you please consider donating at least $10 right now, so AMMPP can afford to place this compassionate act on the ballot? While Arizona voters originally passed a medical marijuana law in 1996, a drafting error prevented it from ever taking effect. This desperately needs to be rectified: Arizona patients deserve the legal protection and peace of mind that comes with an effective law. Voters have already expressed their support for protecting patients from arrest and jail, which bodes well for the campaign. But AMMPP first needs to qualify the initiative for the ballot. Thank you for supporting the marijuana Policy Project and all of our allies.

Thank you jesus christ! about time! The mexican drug cartels scare the shit out of me, and cutting away from there profits by making it legal for medicinal use in my home state will make me feel a whole lot safer! Please god let us get enough signatures and allow us to take the first step to taking the power away from these fuckers!

This initiative is BUNK....Too little Too late.....Read it and then honestly say that it is a good initiative.....Only a few kinds of cases are mentioned.....And then to get any added the state government gets to decide....If they say no then you have to go to court....BUNK......It should be up to the patient/doctor not the state.....Then the limit.....I'm sure there are many pain cases that can go through 2.5 oz. a week.....Another patient/doctor thing.....And the record keeping is astronomical with the state knowing your medical usage with reports an infringement on your God given rights to privacy.....The state does not need to know what you and your doctor decide is best for you with a God given plant.....BUNK.....This initiative is NO GOOD....Only one shot at this....Once it is passed there is no going back and revoting a new one......So first you need one of a few conditions to get a card....Then you must buy from a dispensary if you live with in 25 miles.....Then you must report your usage to the state.....So you need to be dying and have lots of money....If not then you can not use this God given plant which is the most medicinal plant on Earth.....I don't know what MPP thinks we are here in Arizona...A bunch of yahoos.....Educate the people and they will see the light....Don't pamper the powers to be......This initiative is BAD.......JMHO.......

I was wondering if it will be anything like california?

Like will they make it so we can get a club card if we have diabetes?

Let me know the details on the legality of it thanks
