I'm with FL girl, don't tie it in with alcohol. It needs to stay seperate. I like the coffee house idea too.

If it were legal, a lot of people would start out by trying to grow their own, but the majority will lose interest through failing, lack of knowlege and they won't want to wait the amount of time it take to get a good harvest. That's when sales steps in.

One way to step towards legalization, how about all politicians need to start taking random drug and alcohol tests? Let's stick some asses on the line that aren't ours.

Very few people realise the large scale you need work at to get anywhere near pure strains, and then still be able to select traits... It could never be done as well commercialy by a machine, you still need that dedicated sampler, much like a tea factory needs a connosiuer taster, but they could have lower costs with large outdoor grows.

it should be legalized for medical use and decriminalized for everyone else. Thats the goal we should be working towards, not complete legalization because thats not gonna happen. Its not even legal in Amsterdam, its just tolerated. Personally im not in agreement with the current cannabis laws but they are slowly progressing to a better state, i mean hell i can get caught with 10 lbs and im only facing 12 months max so that isnt all that bad. 5 years ago they would be trying to put you away for 15 years for that amount. So seriously, lets stop the thought of legal weed and work towards medical marijuana and decriminalization because those are goals that we can achieve, anything more could only happen if the other was accomplished first.

Being that weed is the original "gumby" plant, I'd bet any serious farmer coupled with the D.O.A. could produce whatever you want in any quality or strain..... If you told a farmer to produce 50 acres of sensi bud, he'd just fire up the tractor and say come back in four months. They are that good....

If it is only decriminilised it still makes users go to dealers, and basiclay does no reversal of the phenomenon we blame on the drug war.

I know there are lots of growers who would like to keep it illegal, as it makes them more money, but this steals peoples' liberty, property and self respect. And people like those are as bad as the pharmaceutical/wood/feul/cotton inducstry moguls.

Next you are going t obelieve all the bud from that batch will smoke the same and have the same caracteristics?

keep dreaming the dream, we have to work for smaller goals before we can get to the big goals. One step at a time my friend.

Not only would we save billions in ending prohibition, but also creating millions in new tax revenue. They say they can't tax this plant, but they sure do tax the hell out of anther plant, tobacco.
Great idea, but there are many of us that have been trying to do exactly this since before a great many of the people that use this board we even born. Not a new idea.
