Anyone know what the legal punishments are for growing weed in Ontario or BC in Canada?

Most websites only have the states

ya people think that because they have a card for the compation clubs they are legal. thier not you need to be liscenced by health canada. and there are many liscences. possetion, cultivation purchasing, selling, growing for others and so on.
i have a possetion and cultivation one in bc. so it`s only legal if you have one of these and appoerently there is only a few hundred of us in bc

yeah i understand its legal if you have a legal card!!! lol

but for a normal person... who has NO card... if they get caught.... with 4 plants... whats the punishment

i know its not, nothing

first offence and if you claim it is for med use, probably conditional sentence or probation. basicaly a slap on the wrist. i`ve seen them take 10 plants and just walk away with the plants and leave the equiptment and nothing happens. depends on what erea of our city you live in for thier tollerence

look up norml, that here, they apperently are pretty good and can help you if you need info on the laws
