well all i had a knock on the door last night at around 10:20pm...two state cops were at my door! Went outside and they said they had reason to believe i had marijuana growing inside the house...i of course kept denying...then they whipped out the seeds that i had purchased from a bean shop over the net. i kept saying anyone couldve used my name and address...but they didnt listen...they kept trying to convince me to come in and look around....i said no...come back with a warrant. They said they'll be back and left. i started freaking the fuck out...i have anxiety disorder so you can imagine how i was literally freaking out! i immediately went to my closet and starter cutting down my four plants...which were just beginning flower stage. But of course theres no way i could get rid of all my equipment...i got 3 trash bags and started filling them...there is a mature corn field behind my house and my only thought was to go into the field and displace all my plants out there....so i dressed in black and went outside and started my way to the field. we have a privacy fence in the back so i tossed the bags over the fence and then followed...running zigzag deep into the field...sweating and freaking my ass off! as i was coming back after dispensing my plants...i got to the edge of my fence and the field and i suddenly heard...GET ON THE GROUND JOE! Then flashlights were shining in my eyes and i was thrown to the ground with a couple glocks pointed at my face. they cuffed me...and let me sit up against a tree, as they called the k-9 unit...then they went off into the cornfield in search of what i disgarded...they came back at least 10 min later with nothing...by then it had started to storm and it started pouring...i was placed in the cop car and they went to talk with my fiance....i was pretty much busted, so no reason to deny it now what i was doing...i mean what the hell i was running threw a corn field late in the night...right after they came to my door suggesting i was growing...so my fiance let them inside to look around...


long story cutt short....they confiscated my 400w ballast and my 250w ballast along with one reflector i had...everything else was left...flood table..etc. My fiance said they took pictures of my closet setup...i was still in the cop car at this point. They called me back into the house and told my they will not arrest me tonight...but to expect a court order soon.
They were actually really nice guys...which is usually unheard of! They also found like one fan leaf and took that, but never found any plants...although i didnt deny i discarded them in the field...the rain kept them from searching. They also said if i wouldve been upfront with them when they first came to my door, and just admitted it and let them take everything, they wouldnt have charged me...but thats hard to believe.

so please all, take this as a lesson learned to not be a foolish dumbass and never buy beans using your address and name...i know its my fault since i did not follow one of the golden rules....i will pay for the consequences...i feel ashamed! But i can say i have read threads on here from ones that said they use their personal info all the time and havent gotten anything from it...well simply put...DONT BE A FOOL LIKE ME!

by the way i never received a letter from customs...according to the cops, depending on the state, customs might not send a warning letter, just simply give the info over to the state cops and they can do what they want.


i am assuming since this is a misdemeanor in IN i will have to pay a fine and be on probation for a couple years....this is my first ever offence bsides when i was a minor, when i got busted for less than a bowl of hootch.

Time to change my life guys...later

i am sad to hear this, and also a little scared. i live in an apartment complex and had seeds delivered to some friends a few rooms down, and just changed a few letters in my name where it sounded the same phonetically, but yet the front desk still fixed the name on the envelope and delivered it to my apartment...
im pretty sure im in the clear, but im moving to a new house with some guys in august anyway

and i agree with you, i doubt the cops wouldnt have done anything if you admitted it. its a good lesson to the rest that cops can be sneaky and scare you right into their trap.

i thinkall who use a prepaid card and have them sent somewhere where there is no growop...you still should be safe...just dont make the FOOLISH mistake i did and use your own name and address when ordering.

i havent felt right all day...my body is going thru some major panic attacks...even hours later from the incident...

i went and told the story to my parents...and they did make me feel a lil better and said as long as i and my family and friends know am still a good person, and not a criminal...just i chose to smoke wreefer in place of drinking alchohol...thats all that matters. Honestly i felt really ashamed...i mean i will always have an good opinion on maryj and will never look at it as a horrible drug...but when i got arrested when i was a teen...i swore to myself and others that it would never happen again. it is all just pathetic how society is so hipocritical...have a beer your in the clear...smoke a joint and yo'll wind up in the joint....now how is that not hipocritical!

anyways my worries now are my career. i am a mechanical designer at a really good company and have been with them for five years as an in house contract employee...and there has been talk recently to hire me direct considering having me on contract for so long could hurt the company legally...and it just made sense to bring me on board as a direct employee, but unfortunately they will run a background check and see this misdemeanor offense of mj cultivation is on my record....they wont hire me.

booh hooh me....like i said my fuck-up and now i have to pay the price

Hey sorry to hear about this. Thank you for sharing your story on the forum though. This is a great lesson to be learned by others and thanks to your post hopefully you have saved someone that wouldn't of had as nice as cops as you did. All the best.

Nirvana....white widow and something else i cant remember....like i said though i think if you do it right...they wont catch you...i live in IN, so it probably was caught at the Chicago customs....and i have read they have been catching on to the bean shops stealth packaging....and in this case there was never a letter sent...they just contacted state police

"Nice Cops" are you kidding? They didn't have anything. Even when they caught you outside, they still had nothing! Even if they found the plant outside which they didnt, they have NOTHING. But when your finance let them take pictures of your op and take a fan leaf, that gave them enough to get a warrant to arrest you and charge you. Thats why they didn't arrest you that night. Get an attorney and FIGHT it!!
