I am a young professional that lives in the US, and in a state that has no medical marijuana laws and very stiff penalties. (red state)

I am sick and tired of living in fear of what can happen to myself and my family.

Where is a place that we could move to that we could live the lifestyle we want to live without being in constant fear of being locked up for years?

So far some of the places I've heard of that are weed friendly are BC (canada in general), Spain, The Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.

California, actually most of the W, NW part of the country has leniency of state laws.. You're still screwed under Federal. Go to Norml.org to read up on current laws and legislation that is attempting to decriminalize marijuana.

seattle pd are pretty cool. cops came knocking on my door looking for the guy who used to live in the apt. before me, anyway i let them in to show them my id to prove that i'm not the guy they were looking for and forgot about the loaded bong and stash jar on the table. the only thing the lead cop said was that next time i should hide my stuff before letting them in. the second cop got a little animated when she saw my stuff, but you could tell she was a rookie.

I live in Seattle, so uh, I say Seattle.

As armand said, the cops are super chill about cannabis here. The only time you get in trouble here is if you're dealing while no other crimes are going on (there are plenty of other problems, so don't worry), or smoking up at like, the movies or something.

Just be smart, don't do anything you know will get you in trouble, and you'll be a-ok!

Also, the PRIMO bud you get around here at crazy good prices. A dime bag is like a whole gram, sometimes over if your dealer is careless/cool like that. And no matter what kind of weed it is, the price is set. A dime of white strain (more common than you'd believe) costs just as much as a dime of the lesser strains.

I bought a dub the other day from a hippie who is "experimenting with cannabis genetics".

The shit was slightly hallucinogenic.

Sometimes you have to be careful of hippie scientists.

Quebec!! I once got pulled over with a buddy and we had just smoked and the cop told us: Try not to smoke while driving guys..and left..true story! If not Amsterdam obviously buy its far..

If you're smoking weed in front of a cop, he'll say something like, "C'mon man, go somewhere else, would ya?"

Once i was smoking outside a bar and a cop walked by. He made us throw it in the sewer, then we fished it out once he left. He let me keep my packed bowl.

San Francisco and Oakland have made marijuana offenses the lowest priority. So if there's a choice between potentially catching j-walking they're going to go try to find j-walkers before pot smokers.

Also, you can get medical cards very easily and are allowed to grow. The city won't come after you and the feds generally won't unless you try to go big and traffic.

We have a legitimate high grade pot delivery service complete with a disbatcher, arrival times, credit cards, etc.

In Santa Monica CA the feds tried to shut down the medical shops. So the fucking mayor started selling out of city hall so the feds didn't have jurisdiction.

It's definently not the SUNSHINE STATE......Fla. is ass backwards on marijuana....funny though...there is SOOOO much pot in S. Fla.....I heard about BC and am going to visit this summer to look around. Best of luck Bro.!!
