Is the risk worth more than the reward? What happens if you violate your probation? 6 months is not a long time to wait to get the law off your back. And I'd listen to your lawyer over your doctor when it comes to the law. Better safe then sorry.
hello Im on probation for a dui that happened about a year ago.Well proabtion finaly started coming by my house and shes crazy i get a breathlizer test everweek
Well im a legal patient Of MJ in California and have been for 3 years

She advised me to quit untill i see the judge
(my docotor says dont worry keep using shes not following the Law and the judge will approve the use of MJ)
(My lawyer says quit to be safe and the judge hates this docter)

Oh I dont get off in 6 months I can just get court probation where you dont have a probation officer and dont see anyone
listen to the lawyer. that is what he gets paid for.
The longer you dance around with the woman the more trouble you will get.
Do it her way and it will be easier.
Buck her and you may think you are getting away with something until
she doubles down and comes after you with a passion.

"Wheels are made for rolling, mules are made to pack
I've never seen a sight that didn't look better looking back
I was born under a wandrin' star"
Shes had it against me since day 1 ,the very 1st meeting she said she wanted to go to court to search my house and get a no bottle order (at this time she didnt care about the card) shes have came over my house mourning night weekends,She even came to my house 2 hours after a meeting)Now that i think she figures im not drinking and she's not getting a violation shes going after the pot
Can the judge legally take away my recomendtion ,And how can this PO go in after the fact and try to change my terms of probation
I thinks its better to wait but dam someones getting free plants I was hoping one off you guys were going to be as reassuring as the doctor but i guess thats what i want to here
Ps 23 days long enough to clean out without detox shit (alot of people are tellling me to quit after the judge orders it if he does)
Id this a felony dui?
No felonys but really high blood alc and my 2nd one Im so confused I talked to another lawyer (not my own) And he basically told me that i can go to any doctor I want And that i have nothing to worry about.that basically there going against state law and the judge will throw it out ....But hes not my actually lawyer but seemed very noligble about the mj laws pretty sad seems like he new more then my actually paid lawyer
What is the worst that can happen? Will the judge punish you in addition to 'taking away your card'? How can they take it from you anyway, just don't give it to them...Not like they can blacklist your name from the dispensares' records...lol...But yeah, if medical MJ isn't considered violating, then just keep the card and keep smoking.

My limited understanding at least in my area is this.
If you had it when you were originally placed on probation you would have had to tell them
especially if part of your terms were no drink or drugs. (pretty standard)
At this point you would need to have the terms of your probation modified by a judge.
As for the worse that could happen? They can put you in jail.
Once you are off probation they have no say in the matter. Doctors do not care about criminal records.
Please do let us know what happens. Good luck
Just read your post again and I see mmj was already cleared?
That is weird for sure that she is all of a sudden against it.
I guess they prefer you be on opiates.
