OKay so I seen on the news they are talking about lowering the drinking age to 18.. Just like the other countries pretty much. But that does really show how stupid america is.
Your going to lower the drinking age to 18, So more kids can get ahold of alchohol and more deadly accidents but they still arent going to legalize weed?
dont get me wrong im all for the lower drinking age and cant wait till it happens. but their considering lowering that and they swear weed KILLS PPL and makes them go crazy... Whatt the fuck?

Hopefully after that is lowered they will work on the legalization!!

its 18 where i live and yh i know where your coming from but alchohal is more accepted than marijuana so yh all we can do is wait for more people to become aware of how marijuana doesnt kill people and how alchohal does

18 year olds are going to find a way to get alcohol anyways. the majority of them already have friends that are 21. if they can get shipped to another country and die for the stars and stripes.. they should be able to go to the store and pick up a 12 pack

you must be kinda young. the drinking age in america was 18 not too long ago..louisiana was the last to give up, we finally gave in around 12? yrs ago. even if they did it again, it would have no effect on the legislation of marijuana

I am not so sure about lowering the drinking age, I think that might have alot of neative repurcusions. But they need to make the draft age the same as the drinkking age because like some one said above if you can die for America you should be allowed to go and have a beer.

Part of the reason we have such a drinking issue in teens is because it's taboo and therefore it's cool. We just try to keep kids away from drinking instead of teaching them how to drink responsibly (i.e. you don't need to go get "krunk" every time you have access to alcohol). I honestly think lowering the drinking age will help with some of our underage binge drinking problems.
