Equiptment in house the law

Depends on country. In the UK you need to have actual plants to get in trouble. Even seeds are fine.

I eared a few urban legend about Granny having their door's kicked & their home invaded by DEA only to find a tomato & cucumber grow-up & the cops having to apologize or being sued or else , but I believe they were just urban legend. FLIR would detect large grow-up easily but it's less efficient for 1 or 2 lights & useless against CFL or LED. Around here the power company are installing new intelligent power meter that will collect power usage data & consumption I would fear those thing if i was plug on the grid cause they can check thing like light cycle just as easily as they can be use to prepare your power bill.

I grow flowers, veggies, lettuce, you name it all year long inside. No law says you can not, at least here in the states.

A case for what? Growing cactus?

If you were raided and all you were doing was growing cactus you would have a case to sue based on violating your civil rights.

Seriously? If you have nothing illegal then why worry? Best make sure you have NOTHING illegal in that house- including illegally copied software, movies or music as well. Not saying you do, but just be safe! Oh, and if you are posting this as a 'smokescreen' or diversion attempt, that's not a good idea. If word got out that you *were* growing something illegal than all the cactus in the world isn't going to help you. If they DO show up and have a signed warrant you'd better let em in, or they WILL kick your doors down, and act all gun-ho stupid like they always do. Otherwise, relax!
