How would you like to see more responsive cops on your streets? A marijuana user is arrested every 38 seconds. Legalizing marijuana would free up significant amounts of resources for law enforcement agencies that could then be focused on, say, violent crime or terrorism.

Want to reduce crime in your neighborhood? Legalizing marijuana would put drug trafficking organizations between a rock and a hard place. No one is going to buy their marijuana from gangster Joe if they can go around the corner and buy it at 7 11.

Would you like to see our country have more money and government resources being spent on things that improve your quality of life? Taxing marijuana like tobacco would produce an estimated $37 billion in tax revenue.

How about improvements to the economy? Isn't that good for everyone? Marijuana is currently America's largest cash crop, producing more money in the United States than other other crop. That is a booming market that, under current regulation, does nothing but line the pockets of criminal organizations. Legalizing the production and sale of marijuana would mean that we could tax and regulate it. We could benefit from it rather than be harmed by it.

These are all things that will benefit YOU if marijuana were to be legalized.

I was talking to this kid the other day and he said he thinks it wont be legal because the drug dealers wont be able to make moneY? what the fuck..Like they cant sell other drugs like coke, crack , any other drug...
He also said people wouldnt buy it from a store..which made me think, Maybe half the people who smoke (or try to) Jus like to buy it from ''dealers'' because its the cool thing to do and it wouldnt be cool to go in a store to buy some bud?

Im going to go against the grain,i dont want it to be legal,EVER.

Like everything else once it's legal the government finds a million ways to cut out the middle men,take control of the production/sales,trump up prices,tax the fuk out of it & all the other good shit that goes along with political money making machines,the money they would loose from no more court costs & bullshit fines would be made up some how.

The way our governments decision making process is so blinded by greed, the legalization would never stop the forfiture laws,you'd still be breaking the law by home growing,they'll never give up that cash cow,same as booze,legal to buy & drink because they receive their cut,they will find ways to make sure they exploit every last dollar spent on weed.

Here's a thought,marijuana is made legal tomorrow,a big ass pharm company like Phister or Watson decides to grow,those fukers will have 10,000 acre feilds of that shit growing everywhere,then hire migrants to do all the work for the same pay as picking tomatoes.

Deep down we all know the US government can & will fuck up a wet dream,they cant help their self,it's in their nature to take over & control.

I agree our government is really fucked up.

It should be legal cause the government has no business telling me what i can and can not put into my body.

"Won't be legal because drug dealers won't be able to make money"- That is the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard....why the hell would the government care if drug dealers didn't make any money?? Anyone who smokes pot to be cool doesn't know what it's like to be a a legit stoner...I'd buy dope from McDonald's if it sold it on the side of a Value Meal for God's sake lmao!
