......thats dispicable....your x-friend is a dirtbag of the lowest order, but again...the proof is in the pudding.........about two years after my shit was siezed my buddies g/f told me he ratted , they had a break-up,she was mad at him,, he got pulled over with an 1/8th of weed i GAVE HIM 4 FREE ,and ratted, fuk come on, in bc he woulda got the usual 50 buck fine, cost me about 15 grand in almost done product..oh btw..i told the chick that she was a party to it and new for 2 years while we hung out ,went camping fishing togeather, family shit..told her she can fuck off forever now, as for him (i so wanna say his name)...i fucked his g/f and then his next one also, plus i let half the region im from kno about him.....its been a little rough for him.....

Growers get caught because snitches rat 'em out, but mainly - 90% of cultivation arrests - because they grow outdoors.

That's how growers get popped. i used to work as a file clerk in a warrants office.

In four years I never saw an arrest warrant for anybody who got caught growing because they were selling. (Part of it is because back then, the 1990's, the police were swamped with crack crime and did not really give a shit about small time retailers - this I know for a fact. Not true today - not so much crack but now they suffer personnel and funding cutbacks.)

How did they manage to get a warrant to search your house just because someone says you're growing weed? Seems like they would need more evidence for probable cause.

No warrant just a cop car out front for a day to lie and say their was "trafficking" going on, there was not. Then they came in thru a unlocked back door when I was home hangin out. After they entered they "smelled pot" and that was probable cause.(bullshit) I got 10 plants confiscated and all my equipment broken all my dried product was entered as evidence.

I ended up getting slapped with a felony possession and intent to manufacture/distribute. I live in a non legal, mega republican, heavily policed state. The pigs lied their ass off by saying I invited/allowed them in and thats a fucking lie! And who do you think the prosecutor is going to believe me or them? The answer is them. No jail time but because of the lack of paper work, warrant, and also the fact when I was at the station I denied it all on camera is why I got possession charges instead of growing and dealing.

Also I already had been caught 3-4 times in the last 15 years with small amounts by the local PD. I guess thats a bad thing when I am born and raised in the same small town. I'm sure thats why they felt they didnt need a warrant as I already was known as the "dangerous" pot smoker who...... smokes pot and keeps to himself.

USA is not always land of the free and it is definitely not always fair inside the legal system. Good thing is besides my twice a month check in with probation I got off pretty easy.
