Overstating a busts street value has been a constant practice for law enforcement since the invention of the media, lol. So don't ever expect to get a proper street value of a bust. The higher the value the more publicity and funding the department gets.

See law enforcement use large busts as a way to help fund the departement. Funny thing is the drug war is bitter sweet for enforcement cause they dont make more money if they dont find growers. While at the same time are required to produce results. There is also a "rockstar" mentality about making large busts.

The push for legalization is on the way and probably wont be more than 15 years before you can buy it at the local liquor store. Haha, even in my state there is a ballot measure to take the state out of the liquor business. So many parts of the government are seeing pot as a tax base or "revenue enhancement" versus spending billions on enforcement especially in these economic times. Not to mention public opinion is drastically changing with the aging baby bommers.

Medicare is a joke and retires cant afford what the drug companies are pushing so pot is an extremely affordable option for all. With everyone switching to greener, cleaner and more natural methods, isn't pot the answer against engineered medication? I say less government and more freedom for ALL Americans!

plus, if you grew 50# + would you also be the kind of person willing to sell it by the gram? probably not, you'd flip it quick for less... i don't know about you but two very large transactions for 25# is much less risky to me than 22700 individual transactions... who even has the time?

Over the years I have come to reject anything that any LEO or any Governmental Agency has to say in regards to ....well anything. Its all hocus pocus propoganda. I have learned that the saying " Once a Liar, always a Liar" was made in reference to any LEO or any Governmental Agency. With both having a deep deep history of Lies....I am in awe at how they continue to make claims or accusastion....I just dont understand why they do and how they are hoping people believe it. I guess birds of the same feather still flock together for the same bullshit tactics. Perhaps one day the will be enlightened with only the truth....but I am not holding my breath.
