You guys who say "dont be an informant" arent using your heads. Personally, i have a mental list of about 4 or 5 thugs or d-bags that i cant fucking stand who i know deal or smoke. Its not like i would give up my friends or folks i know who are decent. Just the dumb fucks who are gonna end up in jail one day anyway. I would try and get something in writting saying my charges would be dropped if i give up some people. Build it up like im about to hand over a kingpin or something.

Plea deals are technically not legal. You can get a deal in writing and the judge doesn't have to honor it. The judge and prosecution can all of a sudden decide they don't want to give you the deal after you've already snitched. Roman Polanski is a prime example of this. He entered into a plea deal, did his time and afterwards the judge decided that wasn't enough time and wanted to put him back in prison. That's why he fled to Europe.

I should have said that being an informant should be your last resort, but if im looking at 5yrs and im told that i can walk if i give up some folks? Come on. I hear what youre saying though. I mean if this scenario went down then it would probably be time for me to pack my toothbrush's.

I was talking about once you let them into your home...if they see anything...smell anything...hear anything they can search....without his permission...he had already given it.

And they now have the ability to wander around the house. Some States may allow them to even "secure the area" once their in the home...under certain circumstances...

Point is don't answer the door to cops. Even if they are tapping on the window NEXT to the door LOOKING straight at you while loudly asking for you to let them in to talk..etc, etc...
