Had an idea recently...lemme know what you think.
This is all assuming you are in a non mj friendly state. Everyone knows the risk involved with ordering seeds is relatively small in the usa. If they are intercepted, you get the green tape and a letter from customs. I have heard of a few rare cases in which customs contacts local authorities, which may run you the slight risk of your friendly local LEO coming to do a "knock and talk" to see if they can turn up anything. Now suppose you use a remailer service in a med state, let's say california for this discussion. Now let's say your seeds get intercepted, AND local law enforcement is notified by customs...Unlikely as that may be. From what I have read, a local cop in a mj friendly county/city isn't going to give a damn that you tried to import a few seeds. How likely is it that they go to the mail service and subpeona the records to find out where they were being remailed to? The biggest flaw I see is that the possiblity may exist that the feds somehow get involved and treat it as mail fraud, or whatever other charges may apply. Is there something to this idea? Might this decrease the risk a little, or do all the extra steps possibly make it even riskier? Or have I just smoked myself retarded?

interesting, i'm sure some one has tried this, though i don't think i'd call it common knowledge
the risk i would see is if the remailer is known for remailing seeds - if so, their address could be a red flagged one but i think your basic reasoning is sound, can't really shoot a hole in it - maybe someone else can see any obvious problem |

So on the off chance that they did get notified by customs, I have little doubt they would at least attempt to give me a scare. I figure anything I can do to make their job more difficult works in my favor. But like I said, at this point we are just talking hypothetically. |

I found a list of remailer services by state somewhere, I may have to try and dig that up again. I posted this thinking somebody would see an angle I missed and just tear my idea to shreds...Maybe there really is something here... |

haha thats what usually happens to ideas around here, to many nay sayers, i dont see why this would work unless a customs company already had the address flagged, but with new companies opening everyday / changing locations there really is no way to locate and stop it really
