on the 15th my brother did a gas run with my car and he got caught and cops came to my house looking for him. they came inside to look for him and they opened my cabinet and found my 2 plants. so the police called the drug team and they came and took my plants, they put my bongs and grow lights in a big paper bag and made me bust them in the drive way with a hammer and throw it all away. i thought they were going to arrest me that night but they didnt, they said they would be back another day to arrest me. does anyone have any idea what im facing gettin caught with 2 plants about a month and a half into flower?

Did you let them in?,,did they have a warrent and why do you thing of stealing as a gas run, I pay for my gas...I guess I'd kick your brothers ass, and tell the cops they were his, seems like the right thing to do.

By 'gas run' do you mean he stole gas? Criminal activity and growing do not co-exist. We are not criminals, but we are described as such by the oppressors. It is vitally important to refrain from all criminal activity when growing. This principle applies to anyone living with you as well.
Did the coppers have a warrant? Otherwise, do not ever let the cops inside your house. In fact, I would not have answered the door at all. If they had a warrant they would have come in anyway. Never talk to police.
Being typical government employees, they did not look forward to the extra paperwork. They wanted to scare you and push you around a little without the hassle of all the extra work involved in an arrest of opportunity. Or if they had a warrant, it was for your brother only; and not a warrant to search the premises, thus any evidence found would have been thrown out of court and they knew it.

Now you can never, ever grow there again. And you need to find a new roomate because your brother is too stupid to live with.

You would've been in cuffs that day if they wanted the bust...they probably figured it was too small to bother with...and they weren't there originally to get you anyways so maybe the seizure was a tad in the "gray zone" as far as legal.

my brother doesnt live with me, he was using my car and the store employee got the tag number and that led the cops to my house. i was at work at the time and they came to my house and asked my gf who did the gas run and then asked if they could look to see if he was in the house and she said ok. the cop went into my room and opened the cabinet thing my plants are in. he did not ask to search the house as look in things like that, just to see if my brother was here. i came home to cops everywhere and my cabinet wide open. i figured id be arrested then. the police called the drug team who took the plants. i have a feeling that they will be back to arrest me, there just trying to get a case together first. what kinda jail time am i looking at for those 2 plants, in michigan, on probation.
