hey all,

so this is my first time growing, i just have a little thing going a couple plants under a 400W bulb. living in canada. should i be worried about the cops checking the thermal image? im in a university house. also we get checked by the fire marshall for fire safety, would they be checking anything in the attic? feelin a little paranoid haha.

With the Canadian judicial system, I'd say don't worry. =)

I'm from Canada too, and I can say that if they use thermal imaging without a warrant it is illegal invasion of privacy... If they do have a warrant then they must have some kind of probable cause besides the imaging... I wouldnt' worry about it... The fire inspection thing could suck though... do you get notice before they come?

I had an appraiser come by to inspect the house for my landlord's mortgage adjustment and sure enough they wanted to see the walk-in closet.... Glad I asked a buddy to "baby-sit" for a couple days

dont be worried just make sure its a good setup with no smell and leaking of light out through cracks. show some pictures of what its like and then we can get a better idea
