Remember, MJ is illegal and we are fighting damn hard to get it decrim or legalized for medical reasons first. Anything outside of this cause makes the hole that much bigger to dig out of.
Unfortunately these 60yr olds might have gotten caught up in greed. Regardless of the situation, we must realize the reality of everything having to do with MJ and be willing to suffer the consequences of the law.

i grew up in rural in. 38 plants is not going to harm anyone, even if they where growing for profit. maybe they are pot heads, maybe they are just trying to save the family farm. if in has its way they will get 10+ years in prison there have been around 30 indoor busts in my county in fl so far this year. between 150 and 600 plants every time. 90% where illeagal immigrants, stealing electricity. all they get is a free ride home i am wasting a good buzz thinking about the bullshit are tax dollars are paying for

60 year old couple? I bet with the fucked economy and people who lost their money in failed investments that they were probably trying to survive by growing for money.

Yes, I know its illegal and it hurts the cause of medical MM.
I see older people who can't afford food and meds they need. Most live S.S. check to S.S. check with nothing extra to show.

At that age, if they were hurting for money, what else can they do? Not a lot of jobs out there for people that age...and most older people happen to be very good at gardening as they take that up as a hobby to help them relax and pass the time.
