I just checked out the Illinois law under NORML and your right... you can grow 5 plants and its just a misdermeanor... holly shit im from around the st louis area and in missouri its a freakin felony to have even the smallest plant growing... im moving over there man lol

They wouldn't fuck with your wife and kids, if you cop to the crime. They might fuck with YOU a liitle more if the kids are young.

Best bet is to hide it from your wife. I call it "zero tolerance." If you can't do it with zero smell, zero light evidence, zero people can even find the enclosure, then don't grow. If the rest of the occupants of the house don't know, chances are, the cops will never know either.
