I have a background check coming up for a new job. Last year I applied for a different job and they did a drug screen on me and I tested positive and was not hired. would this be reflected on my background check?

i dont think so. background check their lookin for criminal history. a positive test wouldnt be on your criminal history. i think your all good. hope you get the job

What caused you to not pass the test. For informational purposes. Did you do anything to try an help you pass the test you didn't pass? how long since you last smoked etc?

about 2 months now.


btw, they sent me a copy of my background check since i paid for it. it came today. they did both an FBI and a BCI check. both were clean. it seems these background checks only turn up criminal activity.
