So let me explain the situation. Me an 3 buds are smoking blunts on the curb in a random cul de sac. One of my friends had weed on him. He got arrested. There was weed in my car, and they searched it. When I got to court though I got my friend to sign an affidavid to free me, but that would get him trouble right? Wrong, in the state of texas, 17 is the legal age of conscent. But on a state level it's 18. So I got my 17 year old buddy to clear me and when they thought about prosecuting him on a federal level they couldn't charge him with anything cause the affidavid he used to free me couldn't be used against him cause he was 17, not 18.

I'll smoke to that
