dude, you dont want probation. I live in ont.,under 30 grams is nothing. First time I got adult diversion when i was your age 2nd time they made me make a donation $400 to crimestoppers. I still have no criminal record to this day.

Probation you have to take drug tests which means no weeds for you to smoke for months. And sometimes you pay a fee each month you go.

I can't remember where I heard this but I think in the US if you're caught growing, it can be converted into 1lb of marijuana for EVERY plant. So if you're caught with 20 clones with roots legally it is considered 20 lbs of weed.

hopefully but with a very conservative government nowadays you never know. At least bill c-15 did not pass this pass month or there would be mandatory sentencing for your charge (6 months) (1-2 years if you were busted near a park,school, church, or somewhere where someone the age of 18 or under would frequent) so more than likely since you are 18 you would get 1-2 years. Just thanks whoever you thank that this bill was not passed YET.

That bill does not affect possession, but does effect growing and dealing.

All I know is when I was busted at 16 with a quarter in Ontario the cop told me that in Ontario they usually just let you off with a warning for a first time drug offence. Maybe he was just cutting me and my friend some slack cause it was Canada day but in anycase I don't think it will be too bad for you if its just possesion.
