So I smoked marijuana for the first time ever today.
I am going on vacation this Monday the 20th, and I will be heading through airport security.

I'm just nervous about airport dogs smelling it on me, getting into trouble. Will they care? I won't be carrying any.

But seriously, if I change my clothes, shower and put perfume on will they be able to smell it? :/

And I've never actually seen dogs at security. Is this standard now or something? I fly out of boston and into chicago area.

Google hasn't provided me with the answers I need since most people are asking how to sneak it past while I'm just worried about the smell. I'm really paranoid, that's all. Thank you to those who answer

Really u shouldn't be worrying about the smell if you don't have none on u.I flew to texas with 7 grams in my pocket.

airport security is finicky. with this i mean that more often than not you will be ok, however i must add that if any smellable traces are found you will be given a hard time.

just recently i was detained at sky harbor intl airport for transporting 10 digital camaras 20 cell phones an xbox and some professional video gear. clearly this is not contraband however i was detained for a good hour and asked an infinite amount of questions as to who what when why.

more than anything i get the sensation you are still high as you are typing.

play it smart and you will be ok.

No problem at all, hell, I've boarded planes blazed off my ass before. I've never even seen drug dogs in an airport before, not that I'd try to smuggle anything on-board. The presence of these critters is exaggerated.

Let me get this right.... You're going on an airplane in 2 days, and you're worried about the pot you smoked TODAY getting you in trouble 2 days from now? Not planning on taking drugs to the airport or anything....?

Um, showering and changing your clothes are things most people do daily... so by Monday you ought to have changed your clothes and showered twice anyway.
