thats what everyone calls court appointed lawyers. 2 grams geeze calm down youll get probation at worst texas sounds like it sucks though in california without a med card under an ounce is an $80 dollar ticket no jail though. mostly they do nothing but confiscate it if you dont look like a shithead. no one is watching you. you have about as unserious a charge as you could get. i have been in much much more serious trouble seriously no big deal calm down have a beer smoke a bowl.

fuck no its not a felony under 28 grams is a ticket about $80. in some counties its been somewhat decrimed even without a med rec like west la as an example leo's are told to consider cannabis crimes there lowest priority.

no luck needed its 2 grams hes just not been in trouble before and over thinking the situation. worst case probation unless there are priors which there are not by the looks of it.
