you must have a lock on the grow room and post your liscence on the door and stay within your plant limit you will be fine i allready had sac pd look at my grow. be legal it ill be ok even at home. dont tell anyone and you wont have any problems with guns. be smart.

I have even been busted before(not growing) but possession and yea they didn't like it, but i Kept my weed and my pipe and it was in my car while driving! And this was in the early days of Medical cards. But she doesn't believe that it will be OK ....and thats enough to make the grow a NO-GO....not worth the fights.

I've had two friends get busted here in N. Cal.. One had multiple prescriptions from other people and was their 'care provider'. Even so, he was way over his limit. Someone turned him in. Police came, took some (not all) of his stuff... that was it. He's still growing. The other one had one room going, and had some clones in another room. His brother was there at his place when the police came. They were investigating a report of child endangerment or abuse - this was the address they had on file for the case, but the people they wanted to check into didn't live there anymore (and had no connection to my friend). The brother stupidly let them come into the house. There was a prescription hanging on the wall, but with the clones he was over his limit. They took the clones and left the rest. That that was it. He's still growing.

Who cares if he is still growing? Does he still have custody of his children? ??????????????? I just can't imagine that they would take your kids over a relativly small amount of weed or plants. Especially with a legal prescription in compliance, And in California. I know hundreds of people who smoke weed, with no prescription and i have never once heard of someone losing there children.... but it still scares the shit out of me. I dont want to be the first one!

if u keep grow room locked and 215 posted u will b fine.if u have kids u cant(shouldnt) grow in the same building where the family is.it should be detached from the main house.if u do grow dont bring any meds,pipes,bongs into house,u shouldnt be smoking in the house anyways around kids.u also have to make sure u dont bring little jibs and trim into house,they always get stuck on the bottoms of ur shoes & pants.u dont want those sticking to ur kids clothes

You won't have any problem as long as you are legal and follow all the rules. They will not take your kids where you live. Other states maybe, or for sure actually, but not in your area, not ever.

I don't agree with the guy above me about having to keep it in a different building and having to hide it and all accesories from your kids. Your kids are going to know and you are doing it for a legit reason, no need to hide it unless they are at that age where they'll get into your shit and smoke it themselves.

I don't agree with any laws that make people have to hide their medicine or not do it in public. People don't have to hide when they take pills, there's no difference at all and nothing to be ashamed of. Laws should just be the same as smoking cigarettes though. Other people don't want to breathe your second hand smoke so more and more areas have gone no smoking in all buildings and you are supposed to stand 10' or whatever from doors, windows, building vents to be considerate of others with cigarettes but we should be able to smoke anywhere and any time aside from that with those same restrictions.

But anyway back to your original question about the kids and being busted. You can't get busted any longer unless you break the rules. Stay within the rules and you can't be touched. Obama said no more busts for legit medical patients. It's on youtube if you search you'll find it.

if the feds come into ur house and ur growing & smoking in ur house the state will drug test ur kids.if they test positive u will have big problems.i agree about not having to hide it but its still a gray area in Cali.i dont want my little boy going to school telling everybody about how daddy is a chunker...kinda WT style to me..ill wait till my kids are able to make the choice for them self and go from there

Please give me links to recent busts of legit medical grows that go against what Obama said. Maybe they had too many plants or exceeded some law? I thought this shit was finally over and settled.
