Your statement seems inconsistent. They can't just walk up to you and pat you down for no reason. First, they have to be able to articulate a "reasonable suspicion". If they don't have reasonable suspicion, the pat down is illegal. Anything found on you after said illegal pat down is "fruits of the forbidden tree" and can't be used against you.

Reasonable suspicion is a lower standard than probable cause, but it is a standard nonetheless.

inconsistent...couldnt read between the lines?? im saying, if what the cops need is "reasonable suspicion" to pat you down, then they can simply makeup anything they want, and they will...cops have done this to me. They can easily say "oh we got a call blah blah blah and you fellas fit the discription" and then they can search and pat you down.

or say you were acting in a suspicious manner. which could be about anything they want to say (ie.....he was jumpy or gave evasive answers or avoided eye contact etc)

they can pretty much use any excuse to attempt to search you.....like you were looking suspicious such as attempting to rob something or somethin....you just got to stand up for yourself and be polite as possible to try to get out of it...


i think this country is getting more and more communis...the gov and police try to get around any laws to get what they want.....and i dont like that feeling...
