Hi All - any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently started smoking mm for chronic migraines. It's helped quite a bit - but having never smoked so much as a cigarette before I'm still hacking up a lung every time I use my bong. I decided it was time to order a vaporizer off eBay (much cheaper that way).

I live in Vancouver and thought I would just have it shipped to my sister-in-law in Seattle and bring it back the next time I went to visit. Then my hubby said, 'You're planning on bringing drug parapheranlia over the border?!?' Oh, right. Didn't really think about that. I just thought that if it was sold on eBay it wasn't illegal.

Am I being naive or could there be ramifications?

Well since you can smoke all kinds of stuff in a vaporizer from rose petals to tobacco I dont see how anybody could claim it was paraphenalia as long as you didn't have any residue from leftover killer weed in it. Run a few bowls of Sir Walter Raleigh pipe tobacco and load it up. I dont think them Canadians care much about that kind stuff anyway eh? Now a pocket pistolo will make them pee their panties. They will take it and give it back when you depart if you happen to be fortunant enough to depart from the original entry point where they swiped the gun. If not, kiss it goodbye. I think they give them to drunk Eskimoes or something.

Might be risky ..more so if used... by post or foot you run into sniffing dogs a used vap. may get you popped..
its not so much the apparatus, but the residue/smell in it.... IMO..

I won't be using it while I'm in the States - it will still be in it's pretty brown paper packaging.

I would not do it but then again im the paranoid type. They make new laws at the airports and customs every damn day lol.

Shipping or post may be best..all it takes is a curious border guy for a hassle, I know here in Quebec they're pretty slack on bongs and shit.. but van. I don't know..... post is way to busy to screen as closely..IMO

I have decided screw it. I'm going to risk it. I was just outside smoking and choked on a burn so bad I threw up. I can't keep doing this to my lungs. Let them bust me.

I'm a white professional woman on disabillity leave from work because of chronic migraines. Since switching to mm (My first illegal sustance in 10 years) I haven't had a migraine in 2 weeks as opposed to 2 per week before. I would love to fight whatever they could charge me with in court.
