Meaning.....

If someone were to come to this site, and post pictures of their grow room....

Couldn't the Feds track the post and what IP it comes from and submit that as evidence to a judge and therefore get a search warrant?

I mean for Christ Sakes....my cable company shut off my Internet Service because I was downloading HBO shows via Torrent Apps

(that BTW don't ever get released on DVD - IE Bill Maher - so the risk of copyright enfringement is argueable anyway...)



When they did so - they told me that it was HBO that contacted THEM and told them that I was breaking the law....and they had to comply....

How did they find me?

By tracking my IP, of course.



When looking into getting around this - the info I gathered mentioned that Forum Group Posts can, and do get tracked via IP Address as well.....

That IP address works like a damn land line phone number - therefore - the analogy I'm afraid of is.....



If they can tap your phone, and record phone conversations that can be submitted into Federal Court as evidence by a prosecutor ....why not pictures and such posted on a public website?

All I know is I been posting pics of my grow here for 3 years OK.

a few years ago, the Feds tried busting growers on a grow site, and half of them were phonies and the Feds wish they had never done it.

Well one with the warrant, pictures are not enough proof I mean how do they know they are not from another site?

Unless I mention you are going to harm the president, I would not worry about the feds.

too many fakers for them to worry about... and those of us who actually have something to be afraid of probably have some kind of strategy as to how post info... internet cafes, proxy servers, photobucket, ip filters, etc

What is an ip filter? can't find it on google. What are good ways to protect myself from feds lookin at this site?

Don't worry about feds on this site. They only care about grow rooms that they find out from tips.
