I understand that under FL law any amount under 20g is punishable for up to a year in jail and $1,000 penalty. How strict are the cops down in Florida with these laws? Anybody who lives or lived in Florida please chime in!

ALSO this new law recently took effect in 2008
The new law makes it a second-degree felony to grow 25 or more plants, targeting for-profit growers who exploit Florida’s previous threshold of 300 plants. The law will also make it a third-degree felony to own a house for the purpose of cultivating, packaging and distributing marijuana and a first-degree felony to grow 25 or more plants in a home with children present.

And I lived in florida for a long time 16 years in west palm beach area and a couple years in sebring which is on the other side of the state and they seem to be very strict about drug laws west palm beach is a fairly big city a bit over a million people and what you have to worry about there is the sheriff, they dont fuck around whatsoever, they have lots of drug dogs and when it comes to drugs dont expect any leniency being that south florida is a major hub for drug traffickers the sheriffs are trained hard in anti drug tactics and they dont care if your trafficing or personal use they get the job done. now I also lived in the back woods you might say because sebring was in the middle of nowhere, big redneck town and the problem here is the local cops have nothing to do soo when they get the chance to bust someone with drugs its a big deal, they use somewhat same tactics but the difference is they dont get big cases soo they are always looking for drugs soo i said fuck florida its not worth the risk although florida crippy is the bomb i moved to colorado where possesion is a slap on the wrist and the weeds not bad either
