Alright so a few nights ago i learned my lesson about hotboxing a parked car, i got caught with a grinder and less than a gram pot, my friend got let go and they told to get a better hobby but i got put in the car and taken back to jail.

They're filing this as a misdemeanor for poss of MJ.

They didn't piss test me because they knew i was high but im expecting one the day of court maybe? im not sure, anyway i also smoke like 2-3 times a day everyday for the past few months. my court day is in exactly 7 days, and the last time i smoked was like 7 hours after i got arrested, i didn't want to throw my weed away :-/ lol.


Now i have a few questions to ask you guys

Should i try and dilute my urine by drinking lots of water/vitamin b to make it look clean?

What do you think my charges will be? I wasn't the one driving and i have a very clean record.

Last thing, do you think they would ever supply a search warrant? that would scare me shitless

depending on how old you are under 18 they will give you a fat fine and community service. now if your over 18 your looking at a fat fine and pc1000 which is even more money about 800.00 all together. be ready for them to suspend your license since you were in a car, even if you werent driving, they dont care. or they might just put you in jail for a month depending on which state you live in. but i doubt they would put you in jail so dont trip. but expect a fat fine and some type of program like pc1000 or community service or work release.

in california you would do prop 36 which is a rehab program...

i'm 18, and i dont have a license to begin with, i was in the backseat.

my state is now a medical marijuana state and i know of tons of people who have been caught with mj and got put on probation so im not worried about something that bad, but do you really think they'd throw me into a drug program for my first time caught with mj and only having a gram? they let my friend go and he was higher than i was

Unless you have a med card it really won't matter if your state allows it for your case. The big question is do you live in a state in which it has been de-criminalized? In my state that amount is the equivalent of a parking ticket with no court.
What state are you in? Also check out your state laws to get a better idea of what you are looking at.

there is a city thats an hour away from mine that has marijuana as a 25 dollar ticket if you have it on you, and the ticket price rises 100% everytime you get caught after the first time.

the officer who booked me said the judge will probably tell me to fix my life, get better friends, slap me on the wrist, and give me a fine. * im sure probation too but he didn't say it *

what state are you in...my first mj poss ticket was in california,..in mammoth..i was 16 years old cought in a boxed car...it got dismessed.....so it all depends on where u live,..and try to contest for a different court house if u know of one that is chiller..

im 22 with 3 pom<2 oz conviictions two in the same court, not a violent crime... looking atleast in tx automatic 180day lic suspension and 500fine plus court cost and fees. but also comes with a bunch of other bullshit like take a drug offenders class with a bunch of meth and crack heads, pay a 100 reinstatment fee for licence also requiring the certificate from the class and hold a sr22 for two years from the conviction(insurance on your license because considered high risk by the state) So basically it will cost you time and money

I live in California and this is my story - Was driving way to fast where I shouldn't have been and smoking a doobie at the same time (this was years ago and i learned my lesson so dont rag on me).
Cop pulled me over for speeding and obviously noticed the smell. I told him I had smoked an hour earlier and gave him the rest of the pot I had - my passenger was a teacher and smoking with me and I wanted to make sure she didn't get hastled at all. The cop made me get out and take all the DUI tests. After I passed he gave me a court summons and let me drive off.

In court I pleaded guilty to possesion of less than an ounce while opperating a motor vehicle (basically open container for pot). Had to pay a nutty $500 but by the end of the day it was all over and nothing to worry about. Turns out the speeding ticket would have been much worse money wise - insurance didn't even find out about this. Looked into it later and the fine for open container in California is now a max of $100 - I probably could have fought it and paid even less.

Took a really long time for that to be asked.. The cop is probably right, but don't underestimate the amount of grief and cost if they just want to screw you around in the courts..
They may even give you a piss test if for no other reason than to hand you the bill.. My buddy got busted in MI when he was visiting, and they did that, plus dragged his trial out over four sessions so he ended up paying a few grand in unnecessary plane tickets.. Don't get me wrong, the dumbass spit on the cop, so weed wasn't his only problem, but in the end they just found a way to ding him for $5000 more.. His jub required him to cross the border once in a blue moon (just to save driving distance skirting to other parts of Ontario).. I'm not sure if he could have otherwise fled prosecution, but I'm not even sure if he can cross the border now (lost touch a long time ago).. I do remember him saying his lawyer said that there was a chance he could win the privledge back, but I don't know how that played out.. Can never hurt to be clean/cleaner if you might face that though..
