Ok so long story short the cops got to see my grow. lol. They wanna talk to me tomorrow.

I cooperated fully. They complimented me. They said no prob.

They called in anther dude they said for training purposes.

He said I got lucky, he was a little tougher. He said he would have taken me in. He did not know anything about legal weed. They then both talked how it was confusing in this county, they said the city of san deigo but this county X (is my county smart) fuck me if I know had nothing or said no. They did nto know what to do. All four in my apt. He then mentioned a poppy.

I forgot I bought a poppy from a magazine that ended up in my mailbox by random mailer. I had no idea you could buy a poppy. So I bought one.

This is CA. Am I fucked? I thought it was legal. Also I had poppy pods I bought off the internet once I heard it was legal to keep as manly joke decoration. I am pain patient, I thought they would be good for laughs. The weed seems to help pills for now.

they then took pics of the whole place, told me not to touch anything, then left. said they are gong to call or come back the next day.

As for the poppy thing most kinds of poppy are legal... did you buy the illegal kind?
There is a dollar store in my city that sells poppy powder or dried poppy pods over the counter, so it can't be that illegal. Its a popular high sold mostly by east Indians who are probably unaware that its illegal and is used to make tea. The tea makes you sick though but does relieve some pain. Apparently popular among delinquent youth as a cheap high (laudunum tea)
If the buds are legal (I think its the THC that is scheduled in the us) you can argue that, but talk to the cops as little as possible you want to bring things up in court not in the police report, at least in the us...
If they didn't arrest you ( which they didn't ) its probably because they don't have a warrant, or did they?
