i read that some suspect it could happen at the beginning of his second term.. when things are more sure for him.. doing it at the end of his term woulndt make sense - leave it for the next pres to sort out?
i'm for making it legal like cigs or alchohol.. only let anyone grow it who wants to..
as for other drugs - i think everything should be medicalized where addicts get treatment instead of jail.. like what's happening in canada with their safe-injection sites.. take the monetary away from all drugs so that there will be no more black market hell over them..
it would be a great first step to life the federal ban on hemp/pot and let states be dicks to their populace and keep the prohibition in place if that populace will stand for it...

Well, if he says he might tackle it in his second term, then don't expect any change. he won't be getting a second term. His first bill out of the gate has sunk him. That has to be a record. Another first.....well done.
