a little back story...
I live with members of my family there are 6 of us total living in one house it is a duplex my uncle and cousin moved in 3 years ago into the upper have the house as all the fixing of 2 houses but we live like it were one house. my cousin and i are avid smokers when my uncle and cousin moved in i was going away to college and i moved away im back from school but my cousin has been able to smoke pot for the last 3 yrs something i was forbid from doing when i lived there in this house with some hassle but.

before i moved back i had a covo with my parents and told them in my 23 yrs on this earth i have been using hard drugs and that i only ever smoke pot now i dont drink or use tobacco i was told that they could except this so i decided that i could in fact move back in since after all my cousin could smoke in the house for the last 3 yrs and we usually smoke the bong or pipe so the smell isnt as bad and my room is in the attic which is 2 floors above my parents half of the house so basically no smell but tonight and a few other nights we decided that a joint would be nice boy was i wrong it always starts the same convo that im a drug addict and that they are dissappointed in me and i try reasoning with them that but it all basically boils down to the fact that its illegal and i try reasoning that prohibition is usueless and they are like talking to a wall i basically finished my argument when they said it has to stop happening in this house by saying "why so that i can get caught by police? because im not going to stop even if i cant smoke it in the house. (and i forgot to tell you that people are allowed to smoke ciggerettes on the upper floors of this house so its not like its a non smoking house where im really breaking some big taboo)

I live in Canada by the way and our pot laws are pretty lacking.

Heh. My rents were the same way.
Want to fix it? Move out. Its what i did... lol
Problem solved.

But its there house, there rules unfortunately... I couldnt change my parents view on it at all. They just fought and said "its illegal" and they stood by it.
