Well, we live in the states and my little brother is 16. He smokes and all that but mom and dad have found a couple of boxes on the front door step with some smoking paraphenillia in it. Didn't turn out to well with the parents but he deffinatly engaged in the subculture and his grades a pretty good so I feel hes mature enough to make his own desicions. I mean if hes tried as an adult at 16 he can sure choose if he wants to smoke or not.

So anyway main point is he doesn't want to get caught with anymore packages. So he wants to get a P.O. box like i just did at home is there any harm in him purchasing it online with his debit card? Since hes not 18 yet? Or do i have to do it for him?

Cause im not gunna be home for quite some time now and I dont want to you mine
A. because I would have to pick up the keys for him and authorize him.
B. And B cause i dont want to have to transfer the money and shit. Im lazy

But you think he'll get in trobule if he purchases one and then goes to the P.O. for the keys and they see hes 16?

Your brother can't use the PO BOX online system if he is under 18. Here is a what the US Postal Service website FAQ page says:

Can minors apply for a PO Box online?

No, minors are not eligible to apply for a PO Box online.Visit your local Post Office for more information.



So it sounds like minors might be able to get a box at the post office (just no on-line signup).... I'd be willing to bet they want a parent or guardian signature when he tries to sign up.

PO Boxes are also available at shops like Mailboxes Etc. so he might want to call up one of those and see what their policy on minors renting boxes is.

Honestly if he is 16 and knows how to use the computer, he should be googling this himself.... lazy stoner
