I live in PA, and I want to grow about 9-12 plants inside my house and maybe a few outside next season. However, their is always a lot of helis. around here looking for people's crops.

My question is- If you get caught growing that amount, what is the min. and max. punishment they can slap you with?

Also, what if you have a prior non-violent and non-drug related felony on your record?

How do you know the heli's are lookin for crops? If you think they have birds in the sky you should keep it indoor, and use poly shield. As for the laws, Im sure you can find all that crap in google. Just minimize the risk by not telling anyone, and when the lights arepumpin full force, cut back on TV, and other wasted electricity to keep any spikes down.

If you have any felonies on your record, be VERY careful..They dont like repeat offenders

Straight off the Norml.org website, it says:

Sale or Cultivation - Distribution of 30 g or less for no remuneration is a misdemeanor, punishable by a max of 30 days in jail and a $500 fine.

But PA links sale and Cultivation together. Under PA law, Sale of less than 1,000 lbs is a felony, punishable by 1-3 years in PRISON, not jail, and if you have a prior drug conviction then it's an automatic 3 years in prison and the max fine. Fines can be anywhere inbetween $5,000-$25,000. It goes up in both sentence and fine from 1,000 lbs. And if you sell to anyone under 21 y.o. then the penalty and fine doubles.

All and all, under those laws and giving your prior record, I would NOT recomend growing in PA. If you get caught with those plants (anything over 3 probably), you would more than likely get 3 years and a $25,000 fine.

If you have it inside the last thing I would do is grow it outside near the same place.
