Default anti-trust suit against DuPont
I wonder if the marijuana smokers of America can file an anti-trust suit against DuPont for the lies that they told to get marijuana made illegal. I'm thinking some purgury went on as well. Someone would have had to made a sworn statement that marijuana was so bad (makes white women want to have sex with black men, will make the illegal mexicans go home, etc.)

I just don't see how it can be legal to tell lies like that in order to turn a tidy profit. I would think that DuPont and the Hearst newspaper empire should be splitting their profits with every person that has ever been jailed for a pot related offense.

Anyone think it's possible? Anybody from Norml here that could answer this?

Let's not leave out the petroleum industry. Hemp oil and/or ethanol fermented from hemp could completely erradicate the need for petroleum (which is the major player in poisoning the ecosystem).

DuPont is shitty on a number of levels.

Check out how this propaganda site they run explains the fluoride in your water. kidshealth.org (Owned by Nemours Foundation, dupont trust)

Then check out MODERN scientific studies regarding IQ and mental retardation in children and the link to fluoride. It is the great commie plot to sap our precious bodily fluids. NO JOKE

To a degree I think yes, but to another degree I think no. I think no mainly because that was 60+ years ago and the people that made those decisions are more than likely long gone. On the other hand I think it's still valid because they continue to profit from the same lie.

Yes that was my point, how long have they raked in cash due to that lie? How many lives have been been ruined due to that lie?

Yea, Dupont is an entity in and of itself.. It doesn't matter if a person retires in that regard.. Their simple defense though would be quite similar to the one the Bush administration used.. "Thats the conclusion the data was pointing to at the time.."
Its better than the Chewbacca Defense I swear..

"Right" has nothing to do with a court of law.. The burden of proof would fall on the plaintiffs.. Thats where the time gap can turn something that would be otherwise nearly impossible, to worse..
I think the tobacco companies would need to pony up waay before Dupont does over this! But I don't see that happening anytime soon..
