Are LED lights good now?

IMO led is a bit of a cult i think there a few more years away maybes the new 5w leds might level it a bit who knows

Brand name panels are hit or miss for the most part without dropping some serious cash.

DIY is the place to be. Custom wavelengths, and much cheaper. There's some awesome threads here that go over everything you need.

I use UFOs for seedlings and such, then I move them under the HPS. The only thing that LEDs are good for(from my exp) is that with UFOs it only covers one plant at the most, that's 12/12 from seed or one auto plant. Now if you have a big ass light(600-2000$) THAT would grow hella dank... But... Fuck those prices

Have you reused your soil yet? Tell me you got to the 4oz a plant mark!!! I thought you were gong to start cloning?
