Cool L-18Suv: 18 UV LED light, any good?

    Hey guys,

I have been supplementing my 400w hps grows for a couple years with UVB Cfls with pretty good results! First few harvests just dripping (literally once ) with tasty trichomes. Only problem is they usually start to not be as effective after a couple harvests and you have to go buy another CFL to replace the old one with (not exactly cheap either). Well the other night I stumbled across these on google shopping for $8 a piece and i figured ehh why not? So I i will be tryin these this harvest and I will let everyone know how they do, just wondering has anyone else tried these yet (or any UV LEDS for that matter) and if so how have they been?? These seem to put out a pretty solid beam of UV light, hopefully will penetrate better than CFLS.

(ohh yea labeled as STAR 110v 48 Led FYI)

any idea what the actual draw is, just for reference?
also, as this is marketed as a black light, most likely the output is filtered to be UVc dominant, instead of UVb the special (quartz-why they are expensive) CFLs

    Description:
This consumes less than 1 Watt of power and can be screwed into a regular household light socket. It has a rating of 100,000 hours of life span. It can be used for several purposes such as: Checking ultraviolet inks in currency and ID's, Check credit cards- Discover Cards have "NOVUS", MasterCard have "M C", and Visa has an eagle in UV ink. Activation of fluorescent inks/dyes used as anti-counterfeiting measures.
So its not really marketed as a black light, but more of a UV detector light which i have only found to be UV lights in my searches? IDK tho...

1 watt? I would say its a waste of time. I use a reptile lamp 125watts, just a few hours a day not sure it really makes a difference.
