    about 700 for either set up, being a co2 tank, regulator, and a cycle timer (cheapest),
    or,
    a co2 burner which creates heat in the growing space.

    you can get a minigen(water cooled) and a ppm4 controller for $420. my 30# propane tank cost $23 to fill and lasts about 3 months. i was shocked at how little heat is actually produced from the minigen that i dont water cool it. plus you can get propane at all different kinds of places.
