Yeah. I intended to pollinate a lower site and then lightly mist her to "keep down" any excess pollen etc. I know male plants once identified don't need much light at all for pollen development, like a 23w cfl would be fine, But I didn't know that about seed development. Good info. thanks man.

I would say do it about 3 weeks into flowering. It takes roughly a month in my experience for seeds to mature but much like bud they will let you know when they are ready, the calyxes will split and the seeds will become visible.

Keep in mind, as long as you have white pistols out you can still pollenate and it is always an option to simply leave the shoot on the plant with a few fan leaves until it matures if your plant is finished flowering before the seeds are mature.

I didn't even think about leaving the shoot after harvest with some bud leaves to fully mature if needed.

Quick Update: Just checked and both girls are finally showing pistils. #2 has pistils at all 6 budsites.

Quick update, I am down to 2 plants, I lost my bag seed #1 and my mystery seed has sprouted pistols. Now if my pineapple chunk will just come around and do the same thing I'll be like Amaximus and doing the Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy dance...lmao!

I was so excited to post this update to show off my girls new pistils, So you know what happened right?

I lifted up the cup and smashed the top against the led panel and snapped it. Hooray!

It might not be a bad thing as this fucking Super Haze grew another 11 inches since last week and is starting to become a height problem.

So here we are Week 8!

Super Haze: Another week another eleven inches taller. 39" total (or would be if it didn't snap). Bitch is top heavy like a fuck now...

Bagseed #2: So glad #2 turned out to be female and has made it this far. Four main colas & two smaller colas, reaching for the stars!

Things are getting interesting now... I'm watering these bitches twice a day. By the time I wake up the next morning they're all limp and thirsty. Think I might devise a drip system or something...

whatever you do its working damn well!! mine were doing well when I first started feeding them and I over did it and now its been more than a week the soil barely dries and they are not doing well at all. I was always leaving them sitting in the runoff, I am gonna stop doing that. Yours look stellar... the superhaze, holly mmamma she's tall and strong! well done buddy keep up the good work

I think your bag seed #2 will be the heaviest,... looking at the pics again, man I cant believe they are in 16oz containers!! looking forward for the other guys update, but Puffenuff, it's not going to be easy if Amax keep feeding this well!

They look great amaximus! Holy crap that one is super tall! And the other is nice and bushy. I wish I had more than one entry in the competition because I would have liked to try topping one. Good luck the rest of the way, my update will be up later on today.
