Shoot for at least 400w, although I would personally prefer 600w or more. But 400w should give you a good starting point then you can gauge more accurately if more power is needed.

The rule of thumb is at least 50 watts per foot with hids. Leds are more efficient but dont have good par reach so basically the leds above are the ones that will powering whatever's below them but wont have much benefit to the plants on the other side of the area. So I'd think the rule would be about the same. 50 watts per foot on your panel totaling in about 600 watts of led.
No problem, for reference, I've been running 200-250w in a 2x3 with satisfactory results but still think I can do better.

what array are you going to have? what kind of emitters, brand, 1/3/5/10 or more watts emitters![]()
