Hey Jubiare.......So I haven't heard back from Hans yet........not liking how this is starting out(no contact/if I have warranty issues??)

Anyways Spuzzum(ha remember him?) asked a similar question on his site the response was:

    Thank you.
The Set-up is still just over 60 Watt: 1 XP-E Red at 350 mA is 2,1 Volt, therefore 2,1 * 0,35 = 0,735 Watt, also in flowering position the 3,2 Volt Blue Leds are at 120 mA, therefore only 0,38 Watt. Finally some of the Red's share the current with Blue ones, they are at 350-120 = 230 mA, 0,48 Watt. I hope this is clear?

But this was asked a long time ago........so I don't know if it is relevant to his new panel's...........happy growing

if that's the case, they are driven soft! But maybe it was some time ago isn't it? .... yeah he seems so take some time to reply... I feel like the guy is really really busy those days! But he'll have to get some help with customers the soonest, no excuses! I am sure you'll hear from him sometime soon.

not necessarily so harshly, some new companies are doing much better than last year for instance.. I think the more there's choice around the better for everyone.. commercial can learn from Diy and vice versa .. but yeah, the pleasure of making your own is a nice feeling.

No Ocean I haven't; the Heatsink around the leds is barely warm to the touch.. up where the drivers are, little warmer. I drive 47 leds at 500Ma, plenty plenty of heatsink dissipating area! And only twelve driven at 700Ma... spaced out harmoniously...... I really should be fine. Optimal junction temperature, as from the datasheets, is 25 degree's.. if mine are operating around 35 .... we shouldn't have a problem. Am still waiting for a response from TheBongMaster. Thanks for your interest
