Jack Herer and Holy Grail 69 Grow. LED AND CFL

I will be posting pics every once and a while to update the progress. Smoke reports and yeild amounts, etc. will follow the grow.

Woo yeah!! What's up buddy!? Alright, so my soil mix (which I really like right now) is as follows:

1 Bag Lamberts Organic Soil
1 Part Perlite
1 Part Vermiculite
1 Bag "Big Brown Cow" Manure
(ALL PURCHASED AT HOME DEPOT)
The Soil is very ''spongy'' feeling which I think would be very good for the roots to navigate through. It does dry a tad fast (Water once a Day Depending on the Initial Watering)



(BUT!!! The LED's, even though I bought from the same site, are not the same.) The Original one I bought shines more of a ''purpley'' light since the LED's are scattered and in no particular pattern. The other LED I bought (which I thought was the exact same) is more of a ''reddish'' light since the red LED's are in a circle and then in that circle are the blue LED's. Kind of questioning why they did this but I kept it anyways because I returned a Blackstar 100w because it was very small.

I am very skiddish right now about nutrients since this is still my first grow. I had to start from scratch since my first round I used miracle grow potting soil and I over watered and it turned to muck and the plants suffocated. And the nutrients I have now are "General Hydroponics'' 3 part system. I would advise doing research about this formula as there are many videos and suggestions on how to use it. I would suggest adding 10-15 drops (IF THAT!!!) to an entire gallon of water. I used a little more than that and thought I had lost my Jack Herer. I am not going to try again until they are a little bigger.

Yeah man, I really hope the timing is right for everything. I have autoflower's as well as the two photo strains. What I would like to have happen is by the time the auto's are finished, I can put the photo's into flowering that way they will be a pretty good size. I only have a 4x2x6 tent though. This should be interesting.

More pics coming this weekend, they are still doing good. Jack Herer is growing very well, got some LST going on and the stem is super thick. Holy Grail 69 is doing good and starting to get some vertical action. Feel free to post questions, anything! Just post! Gonna have pics up soon, so stay tuned!

NEW PICS (EASTER 3/8/2012)
As you can see, the Jack Herer is LST's to the maxx right now. She looks like 2-4 separate plants! The Holy Grail 69, I am hoping will not get enormous because I want to keep it in its' pot. Jack Herer is doing really good, big stem and multiple tops are the highlights. Holy Grail 69 is getting some height to her and is bulking up on leaves. MORE PICS NEXT SUNDAY (3/15/2012)
