A few questions for a n00b?

I'm looking to do a grow in my uni room - considering either buying a small tent (like 2ftx 4ft) or using my cupboard and using LED lights to solve heat and space problems just a few questions - which brand/ type should I go for for this kind of grow? Which is the best in terms of price and yield I mean? How much bud roughly can I expect to get off this grow (dry weight) and finally, would I need a carbon filter? I don't want too much smell obviously! Oh and would the uni security be suspicious because of electric use? I wouldn't think that a few led panels and a carbon filter would suck up that much electric? I'm looking to do this grow towards summer 2012 any tips greatly appreciated!!

Pay your bill and no issues with power usage. Yield? Seriously? That's all dependent on what you grow, how well you grow how long you veg. Hell, we don't even know if you have a seed, so anywhere from nothing to a million pounds.
