OK my hubby and I just moved to Michigan from Seattle and in need of a new hook up? We are currently staying in a hotel in Troy til we find a place to live and I have been trying to find the 'areas'. I know Detroit can be a bit dodge if you don't know your way around and it is best to go to Ann Arbor - but this is a bit far out for us? Anyone know anywhere near by that we can go check out? I am starting to climb the walls a bit

Detroit. AnnArbor, Fenton, Flint and Traverse City all have Medical marijuana laws, AnnArbor gives a fime for possession and takes your pot, no 'criminal' charges. VV

I know your post is a couple weeks old, but "Hi." I'm new here as well.

I hope you were able to find something nice. In my part of the state the smoke has been terrible, with a wide range in prices. More than a few people around here try to get away with selling shit-brown, seedy, crumbly, trash and telling you it's some "exotic" Canadian hydro. A friend of a friend actually showed me some crap he called "Canadian Bacon", and it actually looked like a ziplock full of bacon bits. Total bullshit.

Find a head shop or something along that strain and check out there.....I've always found anywhere with pipes..etc, or live music is usually a good safe market area.. Too bad you're not in Canada..then you just throw 4 rocks and one of the ouches you hear will be a stoner that was too slow to get out of the way....
