What's up, I go by TheChronicCrusader AKA CaptainChronic. I am a new member as of today. I am a medical grower and normally hang out at PlanetGanja.com. Right now I am working on an 800w grow using 2gal HempyBuckets with 12 Granddaddy Purple plants in a 4'11"x4'11" DarkRoom grow tent.

I was lead here sort of coincidentally. My friend got a grow book from his friend and is all excited about this new grow he wants to do. He tells me he is going to grow 8oz in a 2x2 box using CFLs with three clones put directly into flower with no veg time...

Skeptic that I am, I start throwing questions at him that he can't answer cause he really knows nothing about growing besides what the book tells him. Anyways, I just couldn't believe that he could produce 8oz from 3 clones with no veg. using CFLs.

Now I didn't know if he was full of shit or just misunderstanding the book or what. So I did some research.

Turns out the book he is talking about is
"Marijuana Buds for Less: Grow 8oz of Bud for Less than $100"
by none other then the one and only SeeMoreBuds(Garden Knowm) who happens to post on this site, where I was led by Google through a link to one of his threads.

So here I am.

Now I still have a few questions.
Has anyone been able to reproduce the results SeeMoreBuds documented in his new book?
Is it really done how I posted above, with no vegging and just 3 clones?
Is the 8oz dry weight or wet weight?
How likely is it for my friend(first time grower) to get an 8 oz yield from this method?

I tried to tell him not to count his eggs before they hatch, but it's too late for that now.
