Hello guys I have been here a while but never took the time to introduce myself. Stoned and board and felling insightful I figured lets do it. If you are one of the lamers that actually reads this I hope it helps in some lame way.

24, thats how old I am...18 is when I started this hobby of we all share. I have had a few close calls with the cops and even closer with invaders. To say the least I have been at this a while, and have terminated many a plants pre-maturely. Despite my endevours I have had some success and after a long time away I am back in the game.

I remember my very first time growing... an incandescent "plant" light that performed like shit lol. Same grow I switched to CFL's and fell in love. No I would like to say that this all took place in soil using my X-GF's mother's pots and soil. To make matters worse on top of stealing her pots and soil I was growing 4 in my GF's closet lmao. Looking back all I can say is what the hell was I thinking. On the other hand her dad was secretly growing his own little crop in a secret closet he built. His closet was not impressive but it did get the cogs in my head turning. Ok so a few bag seeds a few CFL's and a stolen bag of soil and I am off, ready to get my feet wet literally. My X was against it from the start but I must say that her dad was very cool when he found out about them ROTF. Basically he just told me that they needed to be gone NOW. He was not PO'd or anything but I could tell he was serious. I kept the biggest and best looking one, scrapped the others and moved to my sisters. She knew about her and was cool because it was only another 2 months I told her. It turn out a hermie disaster. All that for a stupid weak ass HERM!!! I was not discouraged I was motivated, moved out to the slums and fired up a cheap closet grow much much better than the first.

So My X and I have our own place now right... well guess what I tell her I want to do, and guess what she says. Righto she says no.. I say YES!! and fire it up one piece at a time. I went from CFL's to a 70wHPS/ with a foil tray as a reflector. Eventually later on in the grow I added another to the say reflector. I was still using soil (miracle grow) the real miracle was that they didn't die from using it. I long abandoned their fertz but the soil seemed ok at the time. I use free 3 gallon buckets to hold 4 plants from seed. They grew I harvested but nothing spectacular enough to even weigh out. After a few of these type of grows I figured that I was just not meant to grow. I retired for a while and read up and did a bit more research. I started looking into hydro systems and was intrigued by the easy and cheapness of DWC. I had a four plant garden in 5 gallon bucket my buddy smuggled from his work. I bought this really big plywood box from a local moving company, I tore it all apart, cut it down a little bit so that all the banged up edges were cut off. I basically built an entire grow "box". The box had two areas Veg/flower, 3'x3' each and flower had a 400 watt HPS. As you can see I have somewhat upgraded from the last time I grew, about 8 months prior. I got a steady job and bought what I needed as I needed it. I was only using 6" duct booster fans but vented right into a chimney that was no longer in use the whole setup to me perfect. I was so happy that I finally had something worth posting on OverGrow. Well my partner in crime decided that it would be cool to rob me, kiss that crop goodbye. I started up again after about 2 months and finding out that that guy was in jail for who care whatever reason. Due to a negligent landlord I was again robbed, but this time the crop was a bonus hit. They just wanted valuables but got much more than they bargained for. We split telling the LL to kiss off cause he never fixed the door and lock. Well this time around I was robbed due to my own faults in using staples instead of nails to attach the window curtain. Hell a cop passing by could have seen what the hell was in that room lol. To make a long story short the ppl down stairs broke in while I was at work and robbed yet another great looking crop. The real kick in the nuts was that it was great looking, smelling LSD female clones. I had 4 female LSD plants onle a week from harvest get robbed. That curtain fell down like a month prior so I thought I got away clean till I came home to that. This time we moved out of the damn slumb and into a nice northside apartment and had a baby with my current GF. this was about 2 years ago.
I am not as stoned as I was and now I am tired of boring you all. About a year ago I started putting some stuff together and came up with a idea of aeroponics. Knowing that it was considered the best of any method of growing I was all about it. I was having all sorts of issue with my setup. I was having PH issues, pump issues, nute issues, and again landlord issues. I decided to just pack it all up untill I was in a more stable environment. This is where I am now today. I haven't grown in about a year and haven't seen a growing bud in too long to remember. I am tirelessly researching the perfect aero system at least for my personal use. You can find a thread that is a work in progress and you can see unfold before your eyes in almost real time.
