well thats whats up on the hempy..shits walks all day on any soil i seen...peace az

ive seen you say hempy a couple of times {i understand it has to do with your potting medium} do you have a few to tell me bout that or would you prefer i just search it myself??

lol why would i want that....hempy is a method of soiless mediums....using a base mix of 50/50 perlite vermaculite( i personally use 100% perlite)..there are a couple varations with adding coco coir..basically you plant in a container with no holes on the bottem...such as plastic trash cans/mop buckets...an about 2 in up from the bottem on one side you put a hole 1inchsq is good....you may want to put a screen up so nothing falls out the hole....now the bottem 2inches is like a make shift resiver...so this system is in terms a passive hydro system..where the water is wicked up to the plants roots via perlite/coco...as you can see that 1 gal container yeilded pretty good an herijuana is a lower yeilding strain....the growth from some hempy's is compared to dwc/swc....also in this system you use hydro nutes but any will work as long as its ina liquid...i like most dont use a ph montering system....peace az

so is the hole/spiget on the side wicking water or are you watering from the top then the hole is acting as some...sorry jus a lil more detail im a smart girl i just need a lil more to get the image right in my head...i love the 50/50 perlite/vermaculite...i just need a lil clarity on the side hole...thx

the hole acts as an overflow an makes sure you dont water log your roots...as you get used to it...feeding an regular watering's you wont even spill over that hole since you'll know how much each container needs...also you need to water everyday every other day as the perlite really wont hold water on its own for long...peace az

so say in those stryfoam cups how far up from the bottom is your hole??
