Another one joins the dust

Hey guys (and gals),

I've been a lurker for a bit and decided tonight to 'rollup' my sleeves and join the fray.

I'm from the UK, and been a smoker for quite a while. I only recently decided to grow my own, as I was fed up with getting crap weed for silly money (equivilent to about $70 US for 3 fooking grams!...!!!!....!!!!!! due to effective policing locally). I'm a professional person, and smoke not just for leisure but because its so much more effective for some medical problems I have. Sadly, the law doesn't see it that way and would rather I kept taking ineffective and dangerous prescription meds, but hey ho, you all know the situation.

So anyway, I've been doing a crap load of research and consuming information left right and center. My logic is common sense is king, but since I'm currently on my first grow then I expect to fall short of perfect. Thats life though eh.

Right now I've got 4 plants in the works, mainly sativa/indica hybrids and they seem to be doing well under my potent CFL setup. Made a few mistakes, I think my soil can be tweaked (already got plans for next cycle) and I've made some classic newbie errors with regards to nutes, but its all valuable learning. I just put my first into 12/12 flowering phase, hopefully not prematurely (16 days old from seed).
