this is my first "crop", just sitting back at this point to see how a garden grows. i am only using bag seeds to start, want to make sure i can at least get a batch through their complete grow cycle without too many casualties. once i'm pretty sure that i can pull things off without committing herbicide (hahaha) i will be willing to invest some cash for some good seeds. at 4 weeks in i have already decided i dont like using dirt but i know next to nothing about other growing methods at this point. the aerogrow looks very interesting to me. feeling a little overwhelmed with all of the different opinions i am finding everywhere but am confident that i can figure out the best plan for my garden. i have a couple of pix posted somewhere on here, so far mine look just like most of the other pix i have seen of same age plants. seems like a good sign to me.

i'm always glad to see a person convert to hydro. don't feel too overwhelmed. there's a wealth of knowledge on this site both in the FAQ and in the people. Aeroponics does seem popular right now but don't think that if you want to do other hydroponics that there aren't people out there. name a system and there will be dozens of people there to help.

I'm personally a fan of dwc.
